Valentines Day

So since we celebrated V-day the day before, We decided to watch our friend April's kids so she could go on a date with her husband. We had lots of fun decorating cookies and then taking them to the neighbors. Paisley especially had fun eating them when she was done!!

Rodeo

So we celebrated Valentines Day an day earlier this year. We decided to go to the rodeo and we invited our friend Julie to come. Rodeo's are always more fun with more people and Julie's husband was out of town so we invited her to spend the night with us! And lets be honest, we are a barrel of fun, so of course she wanted to come! Earlier in the day we took the girls to the fairgrounds and we got to go to the the petting zoo, watch pig races, eat cotton candy and just enjoy in the festivities. The girls had a blast and it was so fun to see them interacting with the animals. We had a great day!

 Yeah..these little guys were getting carried away with all the excitement going on! Ha

 Pyper was being so brave. She would run up to an animal and pet it and then run right back by my side. Then she would gain courage and do it again. So cute!

 Pig races! Our big kept losing but he came through in the end and won the last race!

 Paisley's first experience with cotton candy. She didn't really like the texture but leave it to Pyper to eat the rest!

 Good rodeo fun in Texas!! They really know how to put on a show!!

More fun

Paisley and Pyper decided to make a mess with dinner! Super fun!

 Paisley has been teaching Pyper how to go down the stairs! She is getting pretty good at it!

 I've been trying to do some more fun stuff with paisley's hair..it's still pretty fine so it falls out a lot..but hey..im trying!

 Aw..Paisley and her boyfriend Easton..and the runner up boyfriend Ashton. She sure loves these two boys!

Game Nights

Since moving here to Texas we have made some good friends. We have become really close with the Bahr family and in doing so have become close to Settlers of Catan! We have fallen in love with this game and can't get enough of it! We play it every chance we get! We have stayed up until the wee hours of the mornings playing this game with the Bahrs. We play it when the girls are napping...we play it while 8 kids are running around the house. We play it in chaos and in quiet. A little after we moved here we were having game withdrawals because we always played games with Russell's family and with my sister's family. Anyhow..this has definatley quenched our thirst!

Silly girls!

These girls are growing up so fast...just thought I would show you some pictures to prove it! I love the simple joys of life..like playing in a box..running around with no clothes on..and playing with friends. I love that my girls have the ability to be happy and that they shows us this often. Pyper can crack me up with just one simple funny face and Paisley with a simple funny phrase! I love these two girls and dont know what I would do without them!!

Pyper is 1!

Happy birthday to my beautiful baby girl!! I can't believe she is already 1! Wow..how time fly's. Well despite dealing with a kidney stone and Russell working all day, we were still able to make it a fun and eventful day for Pyper! Thanks to family and friends, we had a good night! Thanks to all who helped!

October....Creepy!

Well, we had a lot of fun in October! This was the best Halloween yet because it was so fun to see Paisley get all excited about dressing up and getting candy! She finally get's it! All she has to say is 3 little words and and random strangers will just give her candy! ha.. Pyper didn't know what was going on but she was along for the ride! We taught Paisley to say "creepy" when she would see spooky things and we got a kick out of it every time she said it! Poor daddy had to work but we had fun experiencing Halloween at Sea World with him!

 Russell for sure won the Pumpkin contest this year..he did the tree and it turned out awesome!!

 Good times at Sea World! We had a fun day there..we were lucky Russell finally got a Saturday off and were able to go!
